Position Summary:

The Senior Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program Compliance Specialist is responsible for an affordable housing portfolio, ensuring full alignment with local housing authorities, state, and company requirements.  Serving as a subject matter expert, this role provides ongoing process training and peer support to ensure portfolio wide excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and deliver ongoing HCV education for on-site associates and corporate stakeholders in partnership with the ICAC training team.
  • Complete a monthly review and execute Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) contracts to ensure accurate subsidy billing.
  • Manage the legal and administrative requirements for 60-Day Notices of Rent Increase, ensuring strict adherence to program regulations and local jurisdictions.
  • Provide guidance to on-site teams regarding HCV program requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal partners to ensure timely flow of information to local housing authorities.
  • Oversee administrative tasks to ensure compliance for all resident lifecycle events between HCV participants and local Housing Authorities.
  • Provide on-boarding and training support to new team members.

Additional Skills:

  • 1+ years of leadership experience in multifamily with a strong understanding of Housing Choice Vouchers and/or affordable housing programs preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Realpage/Onesite and Google Suite preferred.
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) Certification preferred.
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist-Vouchers (COSV) Certification preferred.

Preferred Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Years of Relevant Work Experience:

  • 2+ years

Base Pay Range: $33.27 - $41.83

 

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
