Position Summary:

The Revenue Manager will assist in maximizing top line revenue and works with the Senior Director of Revenue Management and hotel management directly to achieve this objective. Assists in managing rooms inventory and ensures inventory is allocated and restricted properly to maximize revenue and profits.  Responsible for building rates, packages and hotel sales strategy information in the hotel(s) inventory systems.

Job Duties:

  • Reservations tasks including creating and updating rates, setting restrictions, and monitoring inventory.
  • Submitting weekly STR data.
  • Surface insights from data analyzation to ensure current and future revenue opportunities are identified.
  • Assist the Senior Director of Revenue with facilitating the achievement of revenue targets.
  • Assist the Senior Director with pricing and channel management by market segment, rate code, and promotion.
  • Assist the Senior Director with executing revenue strategies across Spa and Golf departments.
  • Prepare reports for the weekly revenue strategy meetings.
  • Create and submit weekly 21 day forecasts.
  • Spot check rates to ensure parity across all channels.
  • Continuous development of Datavision reporting.
  • Ad Hoc revenue projects.
  • Process weekly Travel Agent commissions and monthly commission accruals. Research commission inquiries as needed.
  • Extended Stay Audit ensuring accuracy of traces, deposit schedule, and billing comments.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Experience:

  • Previous Revenue Management experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales position with demonstrated results in the development of new luxury hotel account business, and repeat bookings.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge or experience with Datavision a plus
  • Working knowledge of Channel Management, Booking Engine, and OTA systems
  • Strong technical skills
  • Proven ability to take action when issues are not quickly resolved
  • Ability to effectively follow up on multiple projects
  • Creative problem solving skill.
  • Ability to present analysis to all levels of management in a variety of settings.
  • Demonstrate strong professional initiative in connecting with guests.
  • Must have personal awareness, a positive attitude, and willingness to adapt.
  • Project a professional image and demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills. Accurate in numbers
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and excel in time management.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $70,300.00 - $94,700.00

 

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
