Position Summary:

The Pelican Hill Human Resources Administrator will serve as a concierge to assist our employees with questions ranging from policies to benefits, training and more.  Provides administrative support to both the HR department and the business to assist in HR related matters and ensure positive employee transactions. This position provides support to the HR function as needed (e.g., correspondence generation, record keeping, file maintenance, event coordination). 

This is an onsite position (Monday-Friday) located in the HR Office at the Resort at Pelican Hill

 

 

 

Job Duties:

  • New Hire Processing - onboarding, I-9 documentation, paperwork appointments
  • Answer HR phone line regarding Employee/Manager Questions - policies, procedures, laws
  • Help in the planning/coordination of associate events
  • Partnering with other departments such as L&OD, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, etc.
  • Systems Testing
  • Maintain employee files and record management
  • Heavy data entry in HR systems
  • Ad hoc reports and administrative projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in administrative support or relevant work experience.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must be organized and capable of managing tasks on multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • HR Software experience (Success Factors, SAP, Kronos) a plus
  • Strong problem solving, customer service and relationship management skills
  • Project a professional image and demeanor.  
  • Strong computer skills: MS Office Office Suite; Google Suite experience preferred.

Compensation:

Base Pay Start Rate: $23.00
