Hair Stylist ($15.50)

Position Summary:

Responsible for performing blowouts, hair conditioning services and updos according to The Resort at Pelican Hill standards

Job Duties:

• Provide effective and thorough consultations with our guests
• Work as a team to provide 5 Star Service
• Build relationships and repeat guests with our local audience
• Expertly and efficiently provide blowouts, updos, and hair/scalp conditioning services
• Perform appropriate tasks to maintain an organized and sanitary work area
• Educate and inform our guests on the products and tools used during the services

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Experience:

• 1 year spa experience or high end salon experience
• Google Apps experience a plus.

• Proficiency with updo’s for brides and special occasion hair styling
• Ability to work in stressful situations
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Ability to use arms, hands and wrists in repetitive motion.
• Ability to bend, reach and stretch to complete hair services.
• Ability to lift supplies 
• Ability to communicate verbally with guests and other employees in an effective and respectful manner.

Licenses and Certificates:

• Must hold a current State of California Cosmetology License
