Position Summary:

The Guest Services Representative is responsible for greeting and opening doors for all guests as they enter or exit the resort, providing directions to requested facilities, escorting guests to the appropriate rooms, handling their baggage with care, and efficiency and presenting the in-room orientation.  Explain all resort facilities, their location at the resort, hours of operation and answer all questions about the resort and its facilities.  Enjoy working in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of the company

Job Duties:

  • Review all materials concerning arrival schedules for return guests, VIPs and dignitaries, daily events and function sheets.
  • Take ownership of each and every guest interaction.
  • Help to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the lobby, the Concierge Desk, the front entrance and the luggage storage area.
  • Project an image of friendliness, professionalism and willingness to provide personalized services to guests.
  • Run errands for guests and the concierge staff.
  • Inform Concierge Desk of any guest concerns, special requests or complaints.
  • Report deficiencies noted in guest rooms and on guest floors to the Concierge staff.
  • Follow all procedures when responding to any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • Current California state driver’s license with a clean, verifiable driving record.
  • Ability to operate vans, limousines and automobiles.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working in an environment providing a high level of customer service to guests of high social standing with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work with management staff and other employees in a professional manner.
