Seeking a professional with advanced sales experience with a strong skillset in establishing rapport and a high ratio of closing in luxury sales.  Proven track record of developing new accounts and procuring new guests. Must have a high standard of excellence and charisma. Ability to adapt and problem solve with existing guests and develop rapport to maintain repeat business in exceeding sales goals, resort standards and account management.

Experience preferable in luxury sales or prior hospitality experience a plus.

Job Duties:

  • Ability to influence and establish rapport with guests and key accounts.
  • Understands how to maximize product benefits in creating add value to engage guest to purchase.
  • Ensure that sales/bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue goals and objectives, while meeting guest needs.
  • Skilled with the ability to negotiate with guest and adhere to company guidelines and sell hotel services.
  • Generates rate quotes that are timely and accurate.  Must meet sales goals and initiatives established.
  • Must be confident and customer/guest focused - able to resolve difficult issues with grace and confidence.
  • Seeks and establishes new key accounts:  Relocation Companies, Insurance, and other assigned agencies assigned or Villa accounts/territories.
  • Complete weekly sales call reports and attend sales team review meetings.
  • Proficient at creating a strategic sales plan to meet identified sales goals.
  • Oversee coordination of guest needs with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in industry and community related organizations to represent the hotel and generate Villa business.
  • Confident in developing new business in assigned markets/territories by telephone calls, emails and sites.
  • Follow-up promptly with appropriate action for guest/accounts.
  • Performs site tours of property - must be a resort knowledge expert.  
  • Contact customers in-house to promote good will and foster additional business, repeat bookings or referrals. Follow-up on progress of booked business.
  • Participate in sales meetings and related industry related organizations.
  • Complete working knowledge of all relevant competitors and industry trends.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times and conduct personal behavior in a mature professional business manner.  
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by senior management.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.  Accurate in numbers

  • Must be able to meet deadlines and excel in time management.

  • Problem solver, team player and adaptable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales position with demonstrated results in the development of new luxury hotel account business, and repeat bookings.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry, resort industry and world class destinations.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Group presentation skills.
  • Strong organization and negotiation skills and the ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Fluent in the use and functionality of Delphi and/or Opera systems.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Google Apps experience a plus.
