Position Summary:

This position will support the Corporate Finance team across various functions, interact with lenders, and work with senior management and other finance teams in the underwriting / due diligence process. Additionally, this role will create reporting and analysis as needed to support these efforts.

Job Duties:

  • Underwrite property cash flows. 
  • Prepare detailed mortgage financing packages. 
  • Work with property operations and leasing teams in the divisions to understand. and position properties in the financing pipeline. Coordinate property tours as needed. 
  • Anticipate and mitigate property-level risks that lenders may identify. 
  • Work directly with lenders to answer underwriting questions and resolve loan issues. 
  • Develop, maintain and improve detailed financial analytical models to compare lender quotes, size the debt pipeline, compare capitalization strategies, conduct debt portfolio analysis, etc. 
  • Prepare financial presentations and participate/ present in the associated meetings.  
  • Perform recurring and ad-hoc analyses in support of Corporate Finance, company strategic projects and acquisitions/dispositions. Prepare and edit the company’s annual business plan for distribution to lenders.
  • Participate in the closing and financing due diligence process, including reviewing appraisals, third-party reports, and other closing documentation.
  • Coordinate with Investment Property Divisions and Other Company Groups to source information required during the financing process.
  • Support monthly debt service preparation and assist with quarterly / annual reporting, lease approvals, SNDA’s and insurance compliance.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Education & Experience:

  • BA or BS in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Math, or Engineering.
  • 1-2 years minimum in a financial analyst role, real estate background a plus but not required.

Other: 

  • Strong grasp of financial/accounting concepts.
  • Excel, Powerpoint, and Argus Enterprise proficiency Excellent written/verbal communication.

 

 

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $96,200.00 - $122,400.00

 

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
