Position Summary:

Provide support to managers on a variety of employee relations issues including, but not limited to, performance and conduct issues. Act as an advisor on employee relations best practices and documentation. Conduct and document investigations. Create and facilitate relevant training

Job Duties:

  • Support and provide guidance to managers and supervisors with active or emerging performance and conduct issues as appropriate.
  • Support and provide guidance on the creation of documentation related to performance or conduct issues.
  • Conduct investigations of simple to moderate complexity, including witness interviews, analyzing data from various internal systems, and proposing remedial/corrective action based on investigative findings. May conduct highly complex investigations as assigned.
  • Prepare summaries and reports of investigative findings as appropriate.
  • Model best practices for handling employee relations investigations and documentation.
  • Create and facilitate training on best practices for navigating and documenting performance and conduct issues.
  • Stay abreast of labor laws and regulations affecting, impacting, or relating to the employee relations function.
  • Manage members of the Employee Relations team as assigned.
     

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • Preferred Education:  Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Yrs experience:  2-5 yrs of relevant experience.
  • Valid California driver’s license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company’s MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)
  • Strong analytical, coaching, and facilitation skills. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
     

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $122,300.00 - $150,400.00

 

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
