Position Summary:

Transaction Coordinator, Corporate Acquisitions is responsible for coordinating project, administrative, paralegal, and presentation-related activities in close collaboration with, and in support of, the Senior Vice President, Corporate Acquisitions and the broader Corporate Acquisitions team.  

Job Duties:

● Transaction management. Track, monitor, and facilitate the Company’s acquisition and disposition process. Supervise and track the internal review of all confidentiality and similar legal agreements. Support division’s review, management, and execution of all acquisition, disposition, and title-related documents (e.g. Purchase and Sale Agreements, Access Agreements, Easements, Title Reports, Closing Statements, etc.). Responsibility for division’s document management requirements.

● Database maintenance. Maintenance of the division’s acquisition opportunity and relationship management databases in Landvision and Salesforce CRM respectively.

● Presentations. Manage all divisional presentations – specifically those bi-weekly presentation packages delivered to the Chairman and other division executives. Co-create content for internal training presentations and external “pitch” materials for brokers, property owners, municipalities, or other market makers. Coordinate mapping requests of the Company’s Community Planning and GIS teams. Responsible for ad hoc presentations as needed.

● Market research. Run, analyze and assemble demographic reports, competitor rent data, parcel-level data, etc. Collaborate with Apartment or Office operations and development teams as needed. Assist in the assemblage of this research and its translation into actionable information.

● Social media / digital marketing. Support the Company’s and team’s marketing efforts via social media platforms. Aid in the identification, creation, and distribution of creative content. 

● Administrative duties. Provide administrative support services for division’s Vice Presidents and Senior Vice President. Activities to include: meeting agenda creation, meeting scheduling/preparation, expense reporting, office supply management, vendor management, event planning/coordination, organization chart support, etc. Responsibility for division’s processing of consultant agreements, scopes of work, and invoices. Responsible for maintaining and entering the division’s G&A budget in SAP. 

Minimum Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Design, or Business Management. 

 

● 2+ years of transaction management support, or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferably in real estate, design agency, or legal environments. 

 

● Experience with digital marketing concepts and social media platforms strongly preferred.

 

● Must be organized and capable of managing tasks on multiple, concurrent projects.

 

● Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

● Must have well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to establish highly functional relationships with diverse personalities both within and outside the company.
