Position Summary:

Irvine Company is looking for a high volume Contract Recruiter who is excited about the opportunity to support recruiting efforts across the organization.  You will have the opportunity to learn about our different divisions, property portfolios and how we operate them.  To be successful in this role, you have to enjoy working in a highly collaborative team environment and have a passion for high volume full cycle recruiting, pipeline building and hiring events!




Job Duties:

  • Responsible for full-lifecycle recruiting on high volume non-exempt and exempt positions. 
  • Build relationships and partner with hiring managers in support of their hiring needs.
  • Consult and educate hiring managers on job descriptions, recruiting process & strategy, and expectations. 
  • Source, screen, interview and recommend diverse talent pools.
  • Accurately and professionally convey to candidates an understanding of the business and requirements for each open position. 
  • Market and advertise open positions via social media, job boards, etc.
  • Determine the most cost effective/time efficient way to approach each opening. 
  • Consult with hiring manager to determine best rate of pay and extend offers to qualified candidates.
  • Manage/track all requisition/candidate activity. 
  • Lead/assist with organizing and hosting interview events.
  • Engage with talent at local colleges and universities.
  • Conduct reference and background checks. 
  • Ensure that unsuccessful candidates are advised in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • 3-5+ years of recruiting experience.  Hospitality industry a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to interact on all levels; professional image and demeanor.
  • High-level of professionalism with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
  • Experience with candidate sourcing and applicant tracking tools, cold calling, and marketing positions.      
  • Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information and work independently with a high sense of urgency.     
  • Strong computer skills: Google Suite, MS Office, sourcing tools/databases, social media, etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task.
  • Outgoing, team oriented and creative.
