Position Summary:


The Office Financial Planning & Analysis team leads the annual business plan, quarterly forecasts, monthly financial and leasing reporting and portfolio-level strategic analysis for Irvine Company Office Properties. The Team works in collaboration with property operations, leasing, asset management, development, acquisition, finance and accounting colleagues.

Job Duties:

  • Support processes around the annual business plan, quarterly forecasts, executive-level reporting, internal valuations, and strategic analytics. 

  • Support strategic initiatives and internal process improvements, including software implementations and business intelligence platform development.

  • Assist in data validation, plan and forecast reviews, and operational, leasing, and financial analysis, reporting, and dashboarding. 

  • Provide analytical and underwriting support when evaluating tenant credit worthiness and capital investments. 

  • Help monitor market conditions, pricing trends and competitor research; collect market data/reports in support of business plans.

  • Help create and maintain financial models including in Argus and Excel.

  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of real estate and investment principles, data analytics, and related financial concepts.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • Four year degree with a preferred major in a related field (business, real estate, economics, accounting, or data science). 

  • Three plus years of experience in a real estate finance or analytical role.

  • Experience with financial statement analysis and strong understanding of corporate finance concepts.

  • Demonstrates critical thinking, curiosity, self-drive, proactiveness, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), strong organization, collaboration, and high standards of accuracy and precision.

  • High ownership of work product and dedication and commitment to driving results.

  • Superior in Excel, including strong modeling capability; ARGUS, Tableau, and data warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

Base Pay Range: $93,300.00 - $117,700.00


Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
