Position Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the strategic alignment and operational excellence of the SAP landscape. This role is the functional/technical hands-on partner bridging business stakeholders and technical teams, including Finance, HR, Project Systems, and Enterprise Reporting. Success in this position is driven by a deep functional and technical understanding of SAP solutions, with a focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Business Warehouse (BW), and S/4HANA embedded analytics. This role partners with Corporate and Divisional leaders (e.g., Finance, Tax, HR, Investments). It is responsible for executing major enterprise roadmap projects and critical reporting migrations to achieve technology adoption goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex business processes, lead discovery sessions, and translate stakeholder requirements into clear, documented design specifications.
- Serve as an IT functional expert and liaison for corporate and divisional stakeholders, articulating tactical and strategic requirements to ensure technology solutions meet business goals.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of current and future-state SAP architecture with expertise in complex system migrations. Provide deep functional expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), integrated analytical solutions, dashboards, BW/BI reports, and S/4HANA embedded analytics. Experience with BI, BW, BusinessObjects (BO), and Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC).
- Proactively analyze business processes and SAP system performance to diagnose inefficiencies and engineer improvements that enhance efficiency and data integrity. Ensure consistency and effectiveness of application delivery, governance, and controls within the enterprise applications portfolio.
- Lead the execution of large-scale enterprise projects and translate business requirements into tangible IT deliverables. Drive all phases of the project through close collaboration with developers and rigorous testing.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide support, training, and troubleshooting for end-users on reporting functionality and data interpretation.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency through automation and self-service, leveraging modern tools such as AI and Data Science to drive process improvements.
Additional Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, effectively bridging technical and non-technical teams.
- Expertise in developing reporting strategy and architecture.
- Proven expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW/BI, BusinessObjects (BO/Web Intelligence), Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), and Analysis for Office (AO).
- Familiarity with SAP security concepts.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA or ECC processes in at least one core area (FI/CO, PS, or PPM).
- Strong project management (PM) skills.
- Experience with S/4HANA transformation or implementation projects.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and modeling.
- Active SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Analytics Cloud) is preferred.

- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $131,900.00 - $171,900.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
