Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be part of our Portfolio (Revenue) Management team. This position will act as analytical support for the Apartments division to provide data and insights for optimal and strategic business decision making. The Senior Analyst will also help execute the forecasting and planning process, maintain our in-house pricing models and participate in other various revenue management functions.
The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with key departments within Apartment Communities, including:
● Sales & Marketing: Enhancing new tenant experiences across digital and live channels
● Centralized Operations: Supporting leasing, welcome home processes, and ledger operations
● Community Management: Analyzing resident services, and property management systems
● Maintenance: Providing insights into capital projects, landscaping, and operational efficiency
● Finance: Contributing to corporate and project-level analysis, and general finance analytics
● IT: Enabling technical delivery of data products with automation and scale
Job Duties:
● Assist in completion of quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, and monthly variance analyses
● Produce monthly financial and operating reports to summarize and benchmark asset performance
● Accountable for division wide KPIs and actively monitoring operational metrics, customer activity, and market / industry trends that support operational execution
● Prepare, manipulate and interpret large quantities of data to build detailed and accurate financial models and support strategic decision making
● Standardize internal team reporting for forecasting results and drivers
● Improve overall team performance by thoughtfully evaluating processes and driving efficiency
● Execute ad hoc analysis to drive business decisions and communicate findings effectively to non-Finance partners and leaders
● Stay engaged with industry trends to continue to ensure best-in-class technologies and techniques are being utilized
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
Certifications
- BA or BS in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, Math, or Engineering
- 3-4 years in a financial analyst role
- MBA or real estate background is a plus but not required
Technical
- Strong understanding of Financial/Accounting concepts
- Excel/Financial modeling proficiency
- Tableau experience is a plus but not required

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $92,900.00 - $134,800.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
