Position Summary:

The Sr. Manager of Environmental Health & Safety - Remediation Services is accountable for the overall customer and system services delivery success to internal and external customers related to Property Damage Project work for the portfolio. Will be accountable for financial controls, and responsible for optimizing soft and hard systems by enhancing processes towards maximizing efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance. 

Job Duties:

  • Fosters a collaborative environment that nurtures a shared identity through a collective purpose and instills an unwavering commitment to excellence.
  • Acts as the primary EHS liaison to Corporate Accounting departments. Must possess basic accounting skills and knowledge, and understand stakeholder and partner relationship management.
  • Delivers strong customer service experiences with demonstrated abilities to evaluate pain points, conceives a service delivery philosophy, and executes through others via training, ongoing development, and leadership influence.
  • Develops and implements initiatives based on regulatory requirements including but not limited to asbestos, mold, lead, etc.
  • Diagnoses system limitations, formulates enhancements, influences others towards approval/adoption, and implements change effectively with consideration for stakeholders, business partners, and available resources. 
  • Reviews project specifications to understand both internal and contractor expectations, budgetary requirements and documentation requirements to satisfy project deliverables and timelines.
  • Collaborates with leadership on EHS projects to ensure all quality, time, cost and risk mitigation conditions have been met. Specifically work with internal departments to ensure completion of projects that meet Irvine Company standards. 
  • Participates in the development of training modules for maintenance service teams and on-site community teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Three years of project management experience; multi-family leadership being a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement projects; considering and productively working with stakeholders.
  • Possesses analytical skills.
  • Valid driver’s license; valid vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.  Multilingual ability is a plus.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Familiarity with Google suite, Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft, 


Base Pay Range: $113,300.00 - $147,500.00


Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
