Position Summary:

The Office Financial Planning team is responsible for the budgeting and forecasting processes, monthly financial reporting and portfolio analyses for the Irvine Company Office Properties.

Job Duties:

The position will provide analytical support with specific responsibilities as follows:

  • Support the quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting processes by leading various components of the planning process
  • Develop analyses that drive insight into the division’s operating and financial performance
  • Assist in preparation for the Quarterly Business Review meetings and presentation materials for the executive team
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, including improvement initiatives through software implementation and business intelligence platform development
  • Provide financial consulting and strategic support to the business partners including analysis related to all reporting, planning and forecasting deliverables, ad-hoc financial and operational analysis, and industry / peer group comparisons and special projects

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
  • Minimum seven years of experience within corporate finance, commercial real estate, investment banking or consulting.
  • Superior Communication Skills. This position will be expected to interact in a professional environment with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be comfortable taking the initiative to learn and own work product and process. This position requires being highly organized and sharing the Company’s passion for attention to detail. Expectations include the
  • highest standards of accuracy, ability to think creatively, and a willingness to embrace change and ambiguity.
  • Team-Oriented. Must possess a willingness to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity, and to contribute positively to a collaborative culture. All team members are expected to both own
  • their area of expertise and contribute on new projects as needed.
  • Advanced in Excel, including strong modeling capability; knowledge of database structures a plus. ARGUS experience preferred, but not required
