Position Summary:
The Business Intelligence and Strategic Analytics team leads efforts to create operational efficiencies and drive long term-value creation by implementing systems, business processes, analytical frameworks, and BI tools that leverage data to:
- Enhance strategic decision-making for portfolio management, asset management, and capital investment.
- Streamline visibility to operating and financial performance, leasing trends, customer engagement and preferences, utilization, and market trends.
- Optimize pricing, inventory management, capital allocation, operational efficiency, and organizational structure.
Job Duties:
- Support strategic initiatives and internal process improvements, including datawarehouse design and implementation, creating interactive analytical dashboards and other reporting tools, software implementations and integrations, and data management and governance.
- Model and understand financial concepts around NPV, IRR and discounted cash flow analyses including internal property valuations and LTV analysis.
- Help create and maintain financial models including in Argus and Excel and support business process and strategic analytics design and documentation.
- Support processes around the annual business plan, quarterly forecasts, executive-level reporting, internal valuations, and strategic analytics.
- Assist in data validation, plan and forecast reviews, and operational, leasing, and financial analysis, reporting, and dashboarding.
- Help monitor market conditions, pricing trends and competitor research; collect market data/reports in support of business plans.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of real estate and investment principles, data analytics, and related financial concepts.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
- Four year degree; related major (business, data science, economics, accounting, real estate) preferred but not required.
- 3 plus years of experience in real estate finance, data science, or other analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high ownership of work product, and commitment to driving results.
- Demonstrates critical thinking, curiosity, self-drive, and proactiveness; organized, collaborative, and professional.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders including senior executives, technologists, and business subject matter experts.
- Superior in Excel, including strong modeling capability; ARGUS, CRM, Qualtrics, Tableau, and data warehouse (Snowflake) experience preferred, but not required.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $97,900.00 - $126,800.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
