Senior Accountant ($89,600.00-$108,800.00)

Position Summary:
Job Duties:
- Review and analyze accrual basis general ledger for accuracy and reasonableness
- Book journal entries
- Review accounting forms for accuracy
- Prepare various account reconciliations
- Write variance comments for any significant actual vs. plan variances
- Provide accounting support to property management team
- Participate in periodic meetings with Property Managers
- Assist with complex special projects & ad hoc requests
- Create custom excel analytical worksheets
- Provide business requirements for system or process enhancements
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
- Five years of accounting or relevant work experience; property management accounting
- experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in accounting or finance
- Work independently and good decision making skills
- Can manage a high work volume
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Quick to learn and navigate through systems
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, self-motivated, team player, multi-task, meets
- deadlines
- Can work in a fast paced environment
- Experience with MRI & SAP preferred
- Analysis for Microsoft Excel is a plus
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $89,600.00 - $108,800.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
