Position Summary:


Irvine Company Office Properties is looking for a talented manager to help build and integrate our newly created Flexible Workspace offering.  The successful candidate will have a combination of architecture and interior design experience, operational experience and project management skills S/he is comfortable collaborating in the definition of a new business line and being a champion of design while managing client’s experience, including directly interfacing with customers through the design and build-out process.


Working independently and collaboratively across multiple work streams is critical in this role. By supporting the Head of ICOP’s Flexible Workspace Portfolio and cross-functional team in driving revenue, square foot expansion, and operational efficiency, this role presents an exciting opportunity to shape a new initiative that will become the solution of choice for companies seeking private, customized, move-in ready workspace with lease terms tailored to their business’ needs. 

Job Duties:

  • Define and maintain the look & feel of a Flex Workspace+ office space while integrating messaging, color, texture, and arrangement, tailored to a customer’s needs

  • Cultivate existing vendor partnerships as well as identify and select products and vendors that will be accretive to Flex Workspace+

  • Interface directly with customers and guide them from conception to move-in

  • Develop standards and processes that scale, playing a key role in defining the product

  • Be an intrepid innovator searching for innovative ways to shape the way our customers work

  • Work collaboratively with other departments and external partners through the design process

  • Own each customer’s experience from the project level,  coordinating the essential teams and elements that make Flex Worksapce+ space an unparalleled office solution

MARKETING/SALES ENABLEMENT:  Partner closely with marketing and leasing teams to activate Go-To-Market plans that maximize leasing velocity and generate a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 2-5+ years of experience in sales, business-development, and operations.

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software.

  • Solid presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to upper management, internal departments and external prospects.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to balance strategic and creative thinking with a bias for action.

  • Proven ability to manage across groups in a highly-matrixed, fast paced, consensus-driven environment.

  • Working knowledge of Google Apps (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar and Drive) & Salesforce, and high comfort level with technology.

  • Real estate experience a plus.

  • Experience with Project Management software (Jira, Smartsheets, etc) a plus.
