Position Summary:

The Office Financial Planning team coordinates the budgeting and forecasting processes with directly embedded support of the Irvine Company Office Properties. The team is responsible for financial/lease planning, operational analytics, and reporting for the Office Division.

Job Duties:

The Manager will provide analytical support with specific responsibilities as follows:

  • Assist in completion and continued enhancement of the division’s quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting processes, and operating plan analyses

  • Validate and reconcile the data integration of contract leases between MRI and Argus Enterprise databases to kick-off the quarterly forecasts and annual plan

  • Maintain data integrity through daily cash flow analysis and back up files

  • Provide financial consulting and strategic support to the division including analysis related to all reporting, planning and forecasting deliverables, financial presentations, ad-hoc financial and operational analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, and other special projects

  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, including improvement initiatives through software implementation and business intelligence platform development

  • Produce quarterly/monthly leasing and financial metrics and assist in preparing presentations for executive team

  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely recommendations to management for decision making purposes

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a preferred major in business/economics or other business related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience within commercial real estate, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or commercial real estate. Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, accounting, and summarizing large data sets. Must have excellent Microsoft Excel and data modeling skills; knowledge of database structures and/or Argus Enterprise software a plus.

  • This position will be expected to interact in a professional environment with individuals at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will be able to develop credibility across the Company through both quality of work product and interpersonal interaction.
