Position Summary:

The Partnership Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting partnership marketing initiatives by coordinating event activations, executing agreements and campaign photos, and providing administrative support. This position will work closely with internal teams such as legal and compliance to ensure proper documentation and insurance coverage, and will also manage on-site logistics for events in collaboration with Design, Leasing, Operations and Marketing at various shopping centers. Additionally, the Coordinator assists the Senior Director in achieving divisional business objectives of increasing NOI, driving consumer visitation and increasing retail sales while providing programming to enhance the customer experience at the Retail Centers. This position represents Irvine Company Retail Properties in a high profile way, interfacing with like-minded brands throughout Orange County.

Job Duties:

  • Event Activation, Pop-Up & Sponsorship Support:
    • Coordinate the setup and teardown (load-in/load-out) of event activations pop-ups and sponsorship integration.
    • Visit shopping centers to capture photos of pop-up events, out-of-home advertising campaign, and ensure they align with partnership goals.
  • Agreement Execution & Compliance:
    • Manage the execution of partnership agreements, ensuring all terms and deliverables are met.
    • Collaborate with legal, accounting and compliance teams to handle contract documents, insurance requirements, and any other necessary approvals.
    • Drive execution excellence for all deal fulfillment. Work closely and in partnership with Management, Operations, Leasing, Marketing, Design & Development to ensure that all pop-up activations, sponsorship placements, signage, events, etc. are on-par with the overall aesthetics, customer experience, messaging, and quality of the merchants at the Retail Centers.
    • When appropriate, support the execution of partnerships that extend into other divisions of Irvine Company including Office, Apartment, Homes, and Resorts.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Act as a liaison between internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure smooth communication and project flow.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of partnership activities, agreements, and other pertinent documents.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the Partnership Marketing team, including scheduling, document management, and reporting.
    • Track and report on key metrics related to partnership performance and event success.
    • Provide verifiable and accurate proof of performance case study reports to clients & leadership in a timely manner of program completion.
    • Maintain tracking of projects and contacts in Salesforce.
    • Ability to work nights and weekends as required to coordinate on-site activations at the Retail Centers.
    • In partnership with the Senior Director, assist in cultivating excellent relationships with like-minded local, regional and national brands/agencies.
    • Attend Marketing, Staff and Company meetings.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Senior Director.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Prior experience in marketing, events coordination, or administrative support.
  • Experience working with legal or compliance teams is a plus.

Other: 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and handle the physical demands of event setup.
  • Valid California driver’s license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law.
  • This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company's MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $72,700.00 - $89,900.00

 

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
