Position Summary:
The Partnership Marketing Manager full-time position will lead high-level promotional, advertising opportunities and strategic partnership integration that drive team goals of reach, engagement, audience and increasing NOI conversion. The position will be primarily focused on support of the retail properties as well as lead initiatives for businesses with other Irvine Company divisions. The Manager will develop and manage annual strategy for agency consultants. Alongside the Senior Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and managing a book of business and works on several projects simultaneously.
Job Duties:
- Source, develop, market and secure non-traditional “alternative revenue” generating opportunities for
Irvine Company to include (but not limited to) the sale of:
a. Naming rights
b. Sponsorship of marketing programs, center amenities, attractions, signature marketing events
c. Experiential marketing activation opportunities
d. Vehicle displays and test drives
e. ATMs
f. Vending
g. Gift Card
h. Ticket sales with amusement parks and comedy clubs - Create and execute a Lease Required Advertising program with merchants.
- Identify and manage new streams of revenue via the creation of new saleable signage inventory, amenities, events and marketing programs both at the Retail Centers and online.
- Drive execution excellence for all deal fulfillment. Work closely with Management, Operations, Leasing, Marketing, Design and Development to ensure that all pop-up activations, sponsorship placements, signage, events, etc. are on-par with the overall aesthetics, customer experience, messaging and quality of the merchants at the Retail Centers.
- Manage, design and execute exceptional events/activations with company standards in mind.
- Plan and execute auditing of current signage program.
- Develop communication B2B content for marketing platforms on Sponsorship.
- Execution of partnerships that extend into other divisions of Irvine Company including Office, Apartment, Homes and Resorts.
- Manage monthly expenses and budget.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be resourceful, creative, detail oriented and capable of running multiple projects with limited supervision and with a sense of ownership and vitality.
- Provide verifiable and accurate proof of performance reports to clients the morning campaign is live.
- Maintain tracking of media inventory and customers in Salesforce.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to achieve mutual wins with partners.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Experienced in client/account management.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required to coordinate on-site activations at the Retail Centers.
- Leads with executive presence.
- Other duties as assigned by the Senior Director.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
- Minimum of 10+ years experience in marketing & sales.
- Exceptional sales skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $94,200.00 - $119,200.00
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
