Position Summary:

The Manager will have responsibility for managing development projects and also identifying and executing on new opportunities. He/she will report to Senior Directors of Development & Acquisitions and will be expected to support new and ongoing project activity and enhancement of overall team productivity.

Job Duties:

  • Help the team achieve the Company’s growth objectives and investment targets
  • Active sourcing into relevant markets, including cultivation of relationships with landowners, brokers, and governmental agencies
  • Coordinate efforts of development, construction, pre-leasing and operations team during design, entitlements, permitting, physical constructing, lease-up and operations start-up
  • Prepare development feasibility analysis, investment memoranda and exhibits for project approval by executives and board of directors
  • Collaborate with various departments, outside consultants and contractors throughout the development process to ensure timely completion of all objectives and milestones
  • Market research and other special projects


Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional with 2-5 years of commercial office and/or residential real estate experience with a background ideally in acquisitions, due diligence, development, and financial analytics.

  • Team-oriented individual with experience with building key internal and external relationships to gain and communicate information valuable to the company’s progress toward its goals
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects from conception through completion
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions to real-time challenges
  • Ability to balance completing priorities for internal and external team members
  • A track record of working well with a variety of personalities and adapting communication style to the audience. A history of open, honest, team-oriented service to all stakeholders of the organization
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • A detail-oriented and quantitative approach to the business, coupled with the ability to assume a long-term owner’s perspective and a passion for real estate development


  • An undergraduate degree is required; an advanced degree in business, finance or real estate development is preferred but not required.
