Positions Available:


Service Technician:

Develops and maintains a high level of skill in all phases of general maintenance. Performs general maintenance including plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, hazardous material abatement, apartment turn-over, and appliance repairs in accordance with company standards, and in conjunction with management staff. 


  • Promotes positive, proactive customer interactions to make their Irvine Company experience of the highest quality.
  • Performs service requests, unit turns and preventative maintenance work throughout the community.
  • Ensures community common areas and grounds are maintained according to company standards; conducts inspections, identifies and resolves any hazards.
  • Performs work using safe work practices. Ensures completion of safety training and actively investigates and mitigates risks.
  • Responsible for inventory of parts and appliances; responsible for general maintenance and orderliness of facilities.
  • Completes property preventative maintenance and preventative maintenance on required systems and equipment.
  • Performs porter functions as necessary.


Supports building maintenance and landscape efforts to maintain the community. May perform general maintenance support including detailed cleaning and apartment turns in accordance with company standards, and in conjunction with management staff.  Works with on-site team and outside contractors within the apartment community in a manner that ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production.


  • Promotes positive, proactive customer interactions to ensure the Irvine Company experience of the highest quality. 
  • Performs detailed cleaning of assigned areas including washing buildings, cleaning amenities, clubhouse, bathrooms, pool area, and BBQ, etc.
  • Wipes, scrubs, sweeps, mops, vacuums, empties trash as required.
  • Conducts apartment detailed cleaning to prepare for resident move-in; conducts oversight of work by the vendor.
  • Assists with light maintenance work as needed.
  • Responsible for clean up of trash and debris, and dispose of any waste according to safety guidelines.
  • Delivers packages, notes, letters, and flyers to occupied apartments.
  • Performs work using safe work practices and identifies/resolves hazards throughout the property, including burnt out lights, sprinkler heads, pools of water, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma from an accredited institution
  • One year prior janitorial/general maintenance experience
  • Superior customer service skills and a desire to help people
  • Ability to handle resident concerns or complaints
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use MS Office and Google Apps
  • Understand, apply and comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Ability to work weekends & holidays
  • Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (clean driving record)
