Position Summary:

As a member of the HR Project Management team, you’ll be responsible for managing project plans and timelines for a variety of existing and new project and program-related activities, including but not limited to, Irvine Company’s annual performance and compensation process, talent management process, engagement surveys, platform enhancements/upgrades, HR budgeting process, ad hoc business initiatives, benefits enrollment, department strategy/objectives, organizational chart maintenance/updates and more. 

Job Duties:

  • Manage project plans and timelines for existing/new projects and program-related activities of varying length, complexity and scope (i.e. performance and compensation process, talent management process, engagement surveys, platform enhancements/upgrades, HR budgeting process, ad hoc business initiatives, benefits enrollment, department strategy/objectives, organizational chart maintenance/updates, etc.) 
  • Maintain clear roles and division of responsibilities for all team members
  • Act as liaison between Human Resources stakeholders, team members and contributors
  • Manage performance and status reports for relevant stakeholders and coordinate with internal communications teams to broadcast targeted messaging of projects and initiatives
  • Assist with managing needs of multiple stakeholders and assist with obtaining buy-in from leaders who may be resistant to change
  • Assist with managing stakeholder needs and help to facilitate negotiation of tradeoffs between scope, schedule and participation
  • Manage transition plans, identify lessons learned, and apply the lessons learned to future projects
     

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experience
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies, HR policies/processes and talent management practices 
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across HR
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective team player and networker
  • Ability to conduct in-depth data analyses, recognize trends, tie back to business priorities and develop recommendations for cross-functional groups of stakeholders
  • Ability to work across cross-functional teams to drive results
  • Client-centric mindset
  • PMP Certification preferred

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $121,900 - $147,800
 

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
