Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst supports the Capital Planning & Analysis team of the Irvine Company Apartments Division with capital budget request processing, financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitates the preparation of capital budget request memos and supporting exhibits.
Provides project analytics, data validation and reporting for quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and long-term planning for Apartments Division capital investment.
Prepares recurring and ad-hoc capital spend/project-level reporting and analyses.
Maintains data integrity of project-level data within the Portfolio and Project Management System (PPM) on the SAP platform and associated Business Intelligence reporting data model.
Interprets and manipulates large datasets from multiple data sources in order to build financial models and reporting packages.

Additional Skills:

Experience within corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, public accounting, consulting, or commercial real estate preferred; multifamily experience a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of database structures, financial modeling, Google Sheets, Tableau, Webi, and SAP experience a plus.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)

1-3 years

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $83,800.00 - $107,800.00

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
