Position Summary:

The Director of Procurement is responsible for serving as the key business leader for designated commodities as well as a process owner for their own individual contributor projects/activities. The main responsibility of this position will be to drive the implementation of eProcurement as well as to direct the sourcing, negotiating, contracting, implementing and administering of long term service/supply agreements.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with Division Leadership,  IT, TIC Legal for process improvement projects including eProcurement, CRA, FAS process, SAP and future enhancements.
  • Signs/authorizes contracts, purchase orders and invoices on behalf of TIC that are within the DOA for this position.
  • Directs the sourcing, negotiating, contracting, implementing and administering of long term service/supply agreements for designated commodities.
  • Review contracts and scopes of work submitted to procurement to validate the right products, services and vendors have been chosen.
  • Serve as a key liaison with vendors and internal customers to better manage expenses, service levels and quality through monitoring, reporting, and auditing.
  • Develop training materials and documents to assist in training ICAC employees on policies and procedures, software upgrades and ongoing IT training support.
  • Participate in the Cross Divisional Procurement Team.
  • Present reports, analysis, policy changes and new processes as needed to various levels of the organization.
  • Work closely with TIC Audit & TIC Legal to support vendor audits and other required analysis and investigations
  • Manage Procurement team members to include assigning and balancing workloads as well as HR responsibilities such as approving time cards, approving vacation, goal development, and handling disciplinary actions. Monitor the progress of department and individual goals and adjust team member responsibilities/goals as needed.
     

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Education:

  • B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited College or University.

 

Experience:

  • 5+ Years Procurement/Purchasing experience required with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership position.
  • Prior property management and/or facilities management experience desired.

 

Certifications:

  • C.P.S.M. – Certified Professional in Supply Management designation preferred.
