Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director of Data & Analytics to lead and expand our data-driven strategy, ensuring that data insights are effectively curated and utilized to drive business value and growth. This role will be responsible for overseeing data and analytics activities across the division including, but not limited to, data governance, dashboard development and advanced analytics. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional leaders throughout the Apartment Operations division to align data initiatives with business goals, championing data as a key asset within the organization.

Job Duties:

  • Define and champion a robust data and analytics strategy that aligns with the organization’s business objectives and growth goals.
  • Partner with leaders across the business to develop analytic roadmaps to promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Lead initiatives to build data and analytics competencies across the entire division with the support of the Portfolio Management team.
  • Work with our technology partners to ensure high-quality, usable data are captured to support reliable business-facing analytics.
  • Implement data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards and analytics solutions, enabling stakeholders to access timely and actionable insights.
  • Lead and mentor a team of reporting and data governance professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. 
     

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years in data and analytics roles.
     

Other: 

  • Real estate background is a plus but not required.
  • Proficient in data management and BI tools such as SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, or similar platforms.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $160,300.00 - $193,700.00

 

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
