Position Summary:

This position manages the coordination and inspection of construction projects in support of the construction management team.  This includes managing smaller projects directly. Their responsibilities include managing construction scheduling and communication, and leading the packaging of bids, collecting estimates, schedules, materials, and issuing purchase orders as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages routing, approvals, distribution, and filing of project documents; maintains project files; reviews leases and contracts; oversees Tenant Consent to Alter requests; ensures SOP compliance
  • Serves as liaison between internal teams and external partners; attends and leads meetings as needed, including kickoffs and punch walks
  • Leads the management of project status reports (dates, costs, square footage, status); manages CM schedules; manages the invoicing process
  • Reviews pricing and change orders and provides recommended action, when needed, to Construction management
  • Supports and oversees projects from kickoff through closeout, including spec suites
  • Responsible for the training and onboarding of hires

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Years of Relevant Work Experience:

  • 0-3 Years

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid California driver’s license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company’s MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Strong proficiency with Google Office Suite; knowledge of scheduling software

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $69,000.00 - $91,800.00

 

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
