Position Summary:

Job Duties:

  • The ability to develop and maintain an elegantly appointed environment, with superior staff, dedicated to an attentive, distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
  • The ability to direct lounge staff in the manager’s absence
  • The ability to maintain a friendly yet unobtrusive manner with all guests.
  • The ability to ensure a successful handling of the dining room in the lounge.
  • The ability to control rooms’ reservations for lounge access and contact guests for curbside and pre-registering them to ensure smooth arrival experience.
  • The ability to ensure the correct and consistent service techniques for various meal periods
  • The ability to anticipate, in advance, all materials and supplies and assure their availability.
  • The ability to control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment.
  • The ability to serve food and beverages to the lounge guests
  • The ability to observe daily conditions of all physical facilities and equipment in the lounge; makes recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
  • The ability to dish wash, maintain kitchen and equipments clean and replenished
  • The ability to communicate with other departments to ensure a supporting team of professionals.
  • The ability to communicate with the Lounge Manager & Rooms Executive, guest comments and concerns.
  • The ability to use IPads, I phones, Laptops, Computers, Printers, Etc.. and assist guests as needed
  • The ability to coordinate guests’ personalized itineraries based on need
  • The abilty to make basic cocktails
  • The ability of booking reservations in restaurants, airlines, etc..
  • The ability to ensure a safe working environment for all employees within the lounge.
  • The ability to understand all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service. Also, an expert knowledge of wines and spirits.
  • The ability to maintain a daily log for communication between lounge staff and with upper management / Rooms Executive.
  • The ability to conduct briefings with the lounge staff to ensure effective communication.
  • The ability to promote teamwork and foster a harmonious working climate.
  • The ability to promote good public relations and handle complaints or concerns of guests.
  • The ability to handle all inventories directly involved with the operation of the lounge.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • College degree, preferable
  • 2-3 years in a Restaurant or Front Desk in a 4-5 Stars Hotel.
  • Thorough knowledge of customer service
  • Computer literate.
