Accounting Manager ($100,700.00-$126,400.00)

Position Summary:

The Accounting Manager will primarily support all accounting, analysis and reporting associated with the accurate recording of payroll and related monthly financial close. This role will work closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Corporate Accounting and our business process outsource team. This is an opportunity for a high performing individual who is detail oriented, disciplined and self-motivated.

Job Duties:

• Review and validate ADP payroll postings

• Prepare and review reconciliations of payroll-related liability accounts

• Prepare and review monthly payroll-related journal entries and Corporate overhead entries

• Train, supervise, and collaborate with 3rd party accountants on monthly payroll entries, cash reconciliations and liability account reconciliations.

• Review the payroll bank account reconciliations. Coordinate with Payroll, HR/Benefits and ADP on research and resolution of reconciling items

• Maintain Company’s payroll general ledger accounts and cost center mapping in ADP GL

• Assist with preparation of annual plan and quarterly forecasts

• Assist with monthly and quarterly G&A reporting and analysis

• Assist with the Company’s interim and fiscal year-end audit

• Assist with special projects and other duties, as requested

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field

• Six+ years of general accounting experience with progressively increased responsibility

• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office skill level, with strong spreadsheet skills. SAP and ADP experience a plus

• Able to maintain confidentiality in all assignments and information obtained

• Professional verbal and written communication skills necessary for collaborative interaction with Corporate and division personnel

• Positive team-player attitude, willingness to embrace change and highly self-motivated
