Position Summary:

The leasing manager is responsible for leading the leasing function to achieve and/or exceed occupancy and availability goals, including coaching the leasing process.

Job Duties:

  • Creates a customer service focused culture for residents, prospects, vendors and employees; responds and resolves resident requests and concerns; leads by example and ensure a proactive approach is adopted for all key customer touch points.
  • Leads, coaches and develops direct reports to create a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Promotes a positive working environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork; networks with CRC, market comps and sister communities.
  • Demonstrates excellent selling and rapport-building skills by leading through example with all prospect and resident communications.
  • Uses the leasing consultant approach to evaluate customer needs while communicating relevant benefits.
  • Maintains accurate and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the property and market.
  • Strategically develops and executes plan to exceed key performance indicators.
  • Ensures the overall community standard are, in-line with Irvine Company expectations.
  • Works with the team to ensure overall property maintenance is kept up through regular property walks and quality inspections.
  • Effectively uses an approach to customer service and selling that is based on the needs and wants of the customer, rather than the needs of the individual or business.
  • Provides world class customer service by being solution oriented, following through with commitments and utilizing creative problem solving.
  • Assists with addressing and resolving prospect and resident escalations.
  • Regularly updates competitive data to assist with pricing decisions.  Communicates findings to Community Manager/General Manager, Senior Director, and Revenue Manager.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Two years experience in sales environment
  • Occasional travel required
  • Schedule may require work on weekends, holidays and evenings
