Position Summary:

The Director of Project Management will provide leadership in the development and execution of major Maintenance Projects for an assigned portfolio of multi-family communities. 

Job Duties:

Responsible for the development of the 10 Year Maintenance Project Plan. 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure there is a comprehensive condition assessment for assigned portfolio. 
  • Manage site compliance assessment efforts with appropriate follow up.
  • Manage condition assessment program for assigned portfolio.
  • Ensure all maintenance service projects are added to the capital plan.

Design Studio Liaison

  • Evaluate all the requests for design support to validate need and develop comprehensive design recommendations.
  • Obtain senior management approval for all proposed design projects
  • Act as primary liaison with the design studio in the development of design plans.

Project Management

  • Responsible for hands-on project management for a high volume project load.  
  • Accountability for the proper, timely execution of all maintenance projects in the assigned portfolio.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to ensure all communities are maintained to ICAC standards. 

Leadership

  • Lead team members effectively to achieve or exceed business results.
  • Effectively engage, coach, and develop direct reports, growing skills and business acumen through on-the-job experience and extensive learning resources.
  • Leveraging continuous feedback to build trust with internal/external teams.
  • Support “One Irvine Company” collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 12 years of project management experience preferably in a multi-family environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management, scheduling, and estimating. PMP a plus.
  • Experience in conducting facility maintenance and construction inspections
  • Ability to interact and establish partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
