Position Summary:

At Irvine Company Corporate Business Properties, we oversee operations for a diverse portfolio consisting of the Resort at Pelican Hill, Oak Creek Golf Club, CRC Marinas at Newport Beach, and a wide collection of cell sites.

We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Operations to fill two core functions for the organization:

  • Capital Project Management: Manage multiple complex capital projects (renovation, construction, landscaping, MEP, etc.) to ensure successful completion on time, on budget, and on scope.
  • Corporate Liaison: Ensure the long-term stability of our assets and in adherence to all corporate environmental, risk management, security, safety, and design standards.

Job Duties:

Capital Project Management

  • Management and tracking of 10 year capital plan, balancing standard replacement schedules and needs of the properties. Evaluates the capital budgets actively to ensure alignment with the goals of the property.
  • Ownership of the capital approval process and ensuring that all standard operating procedures are being followed.
  • Full ownership of execution of key corporate driven capital projects. Particularly, projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders with implications for environmental, risk management, security, safety, and design standards.
  • Partnering with the project owners to maintain a consolidated tracker of all projects for the division.


Corporate Liaison

  • Act as liaison between our division and key environmental, risk management, security, safety, and design corporate partners.
  • Lead the division’s Business Continuity efforts. Updating the BC plan as appropriate and actively informing the BC Committee of new developments.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:


  • More than 5 Years relevant experience.
  • Experience with hotel specific capital projects preferred, but not required.
  • Experience working and leading in a matrix organization and building strong relationships with both internal & external partners.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient with Google Workspace products (Google Docs, Drive, Sheets, Slides, etc.), SAP ERP system, and SAP PPM is preferred.
  • Excellent organization skills and both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working as an independent contributor and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
