Position Summary:

The Director of International Sales leads the company’s efforts to maintain and expand relationships with accounts based in the European Union/UK,  Middle-East & Africa.  The Director of International Sales is responsible for achieving set international sales goals and assigned strategic account & past guest objectives. The Director of International Sales represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while focusing on extended stays in the villa category at The Resort at Pelican Hill. This includes assisting the new and past guests in the booking cycle and ensuring past and prospect guest needs and expectations are met. The Director of International Sales will focus on key international territories and will work with inside sales at The Resort at Pelican Hill to facilitate the booking process.

Job Duties:

Establishes and maintains productive, professional relationships with key past guests in the assigned international regions of European Union/UK,  Middle-East & Africa. · Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations. · Meets assigned sales targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned regions. · Proactively leads a joint company-strategic past guest planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for 24 month booking cycle. · Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates guests needs on an ongoing basis. · Leads solution development efforts that best address guest’s needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution
  • Outstanding track record of outperforming the market across multiple roles during career.
  • Minimum ten years of strategic sales experience in hospitality and/or business-to-business sales environment
  • Strong analytical capabilities with strong strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Strong understanding of Middle-East market- customs, culture and standards of expectations.
  • Ability to travel abroad: European Union/UK,  Middle-East & Africa
