Position Summary:

Position will be responsible for providing analytical and financial support to the Irvine Company Office Properties division (ICOP). This includes direct support of an 11M SF portfolio and other ad-hoc responsibilities that drive business analytics and executive decision making.

Job Duties:

Directly support Regional Vice President of Operations:

  • Management of 11M total square feet including a 3M square foot asset
  • Provide recurring reports and financial performance dashboards
  • Business planning, forecasting, and tracking of revenue, expense, and capital
  • Ad-hoc analytical projects

Assess tenant credit risk and recommend appropriate lease securitization

Support leasing department with financial analysis, reporting, and lease-level calculations

Engage with tenants requesting lease workouts and determine appropriate action 

Oversee analysis and growth of ICOP miscellaneous revenue

Provide financial and operational support to self-storage portfolio

Support ICOP senior management with various “deep dive” ad-hoc analytics and special projects

Identify opportunities to improve processes and develop analytics that add-value to the company

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

  • Four year degree with a preferred major in finance or economics;
  • Three to five years financial analysis experience within commercial real estate;
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and highly organized team player with strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented work environment;
  • Experienced with financial statement analysis and financial modeling;
  • Experienced working in Argus, SAP, and MRI;
  • Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
  • Superior Microsoft Excel, analytical, and problem solving skills
