Position Summary:

The Office Finance and Investments (F&I) team is responsible for the underwriting and analysis of Office investments, including development, reinvestment, acquisition and leasing. The team also supports all finance activities for the Office division, including quarterly and annual financial forecasts, operating portfolio analytics and strategic initiatives.

Job Duties:

  • Complete investment underwriting and analysis for development, reinvestment and acquisition projects, analyze leasing decisions and prepare tenant credit analytics 
  • Coordinate and support Office development and reinvestment analytics, including feasibility studies, preparation and evaluation of financial analysis and ongoing project performance tracking; collaborate with Development, Leasing, Construction, Operations, Corporate Finance and Strategic Planning & Analysis teams
  • Prepare deliverables (e.g. financial exhibits, investment theses) to support Office investment decisions, including capital requests and internal executive communication
  • Support Office division business planning process (including quarterly and annual financial forecasts), operating portfolio analytics and strategic initiatives (e.g. competitive research, monitoring industry trends and internal process improvements)

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four year degree with a preferred major in finance, economics or other business-related field; MBA a plus
  • Three to five years commercial real estate finance and investment underwriting experience
  • Superior Excel, analytical and data modeling skills; ARGUS experience required
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized, self-motivated and collaborative
  • Experience with financial statement analysis; strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
