Position Summary:

The Sr. HANA Developer/Analyst will be responsible for the creation of HANA data models from SAP and non-SAP sources, working with multiple teams to create robust and scalable solutions across Irvine Company. 

Job Duties:

  • Creation of HANA Data Models from SAP and Non-SAP sources
  • Provide estimates for projects and support in an agile environment
  • Work with multiple teams to create robust and scalable solutions 
  • Mentor and share ideas with team members
  • Design and development of data models within HANA
  • Translate SQL and complex logic into physical models
  • Prepare discussions on best practices and opportunities for improvement
  • Resolution of production issues involving operations systems technologies, working with support leadership to ensure incidents are addressed in a timely and high quality fashion
  • Continually demonstrate high quality customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead design discussions with key business users to gather requirements, provide estimates, create mockups in an agile development process

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-year College Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficient with 3 years of HANA modeling experience using Attribute View, Analytical view and Calculation view for SAP and Non-SAP data sources
  • HANA XS experience
  • 5 years experience of Relational DB development/architecture
  • 1-2 years for SAP BW experience
  • Experience completing a HANA DB implementation
  • Working knowledge on ETL tools (BODS, SSIS, Informatica, Boomi, Alteryx, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools; SAP Business Objects, Tableau, Analysis for Office
  • Strong Database, data modeling, ETL and SQL skills
  • Capability to solve problems creatively/critical thinking  
  • Excellent analysis and design skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and take direction from several people.
  • Exceptional follow through skills, flexible and capable of working in a fast paced, high energy environment.
  • Team player and must be willing to "pitch-in" and assist whenever and wherever needed.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, including system and business analysis, problem analysis and resolution.  Must be able to understand technical concepts of the system environment and relate them to business processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a customer service attitude.
  • Must be extremely well organized and thorough.

  • Real Estate experience is a plus
