Position Summary:

This Business Analyst is a member of the Business Systems team for ICAC’s Community Management Services group.  We serve Community Management by supporting its various business systems and applications, driving strategic initiatives, and partnering with the IT organization.  

The Business Analyst is responsible for working with users and business owners to understand needs, system design, and translating those requirements into functional specifications.

This requires the ability to effectively communicate, quickly understand the business, their processes, and demonstrate progress while working on multiple, parallel activities.

Job Duties:
  • Serve as liaison between the business divisions and development: Interview staff and conduct functional business requirements gathering sessions; monitor developer progress; report to business stakeholders; participate in primary and secondary research in the identification of solutions to meet business needs

  • Involved in all aspects of service delivery  within the scope of ICAC’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce. This entails managing long lists of customer service requests, detailed analysis, requirements gathering, testing, training, documentation, etc.

  • Analyze user requests for new systems, enhancements to existing systems, and new errors as found by the team and user community; perform resource capacity planning to assign and balance the workload of developers.

  • Coordinate all aspects of internal system release testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to facilitate agile issue resolution. This includes training of the UAT team on the application and/or process change, and management of all phases of testing for the team's supported applications. 

  • Produce detailed process maps, system diagrams, logical data models, business requirements, gap analysis, report specifications and other documentation as required for project analysis, planning and design. 

  • Lead in identification of functional requirements and assist the business analysts in translating business requirements into specific technical specifications. 

  • Escalate key issues and potential delays, drive decision-making to move forward key tasks and eliminate bottlenecks.

Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
  • Bachelor Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, preferably with large organizations with multiple sites, divisions, and large number of users. 

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.  Experience with Service and/or Marketing Cloud a plus.

  • Experience using Google G-Suite systems, Tableau, Lucid Charts, is a plus.

  • Must understand Relational Database architecture and have experience writing SQL SELECT statements to perform data analysis on the system.

  • Previously engaged in ERP implementations leading or participating in a business analyst role. 

  • Strong critical thinking skills, including system and business analysis, problem analysis and resolution. Must be able to understand both business objectives and technical concepts of the system environment.

  • Trained and experienced in delivering projects using the Agile development framework.  Previous experience working with JIRA is a plus.  

  • Excellent all-around communication skills, interpersonal, verbal, and written, accompanied by a customer service attitude.  

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills

  • Special consideration given to candidates that have worked in the real estate industry (commercial real estate or multifamily).
